Privacy Notice

This notice explains what JetCrew Registry collects from pilot applicants, why we collect it, and how it is protected.

Placeholder document, pending review by counsel

What we collect

Identity and contact details, citizenship and work authorization information, FAA certificates and medical information, flight experience, type ratings, availability and rate preferences, professional references, and uploaded credential documents.

Security data recorded at submission: your public IP address, approximate IP-based location, browser, operating system, device type, and, only if you grant browser permission, your precise GPS coordinates and their accuracy.

Why we collect it

To evaluate legal eligibility for flight assignments and international travel, to verify credentials and currency, and to match qualified pilots with contract opportunities.

IP addresses and precise location are collected as a security and fraud-prevention measure. They are never displayed publicly.

Who may access it

Only authorized JetCrew Registry administrators. Your information may be shared with a legitimate aircraft operator or client only when necessary to evaluate you for a specific opportunity.

How documents are protected

Uploaded documents are stored in private encrypted storage. They are never publicly linked, never indexed by search engines, and are retrieved only through temporary signed links issued after an administrator authenticates.

Corrections, deletion, and retention

To request a correction or deletion, contact JetCrew Registry using the address below. Records that must be preserved for legitimate legal, contractual, fraud-prevention, or audit reasons are retained until administrator review.

Inactive, rejected, and archived profiles are retained according to the configurable retention rule described in the Data Retention and Deletion Policy.
